The homes will sell in the $250,000 - $290,000 price range, which is about 15 percent less than the cost to build. Additionally, similar floor plans of new homes in areas such as Dothan, Alabama; Thomasville, Georgia and Tallahassee, Florida sell for $350,000 - $400,000, giving people the opportunity to own a quality home, in a well-planned neighborhood, located in an area with a lower cost of living.
